After carrying that monitor almost one mile, I can barely use my arms to type...

Can I get a WhatWhat?

Yesterday (monday) was almost cold enough here that you could use a jacket in addition to a long sleeve shirt. Eventually, we'll be in the middle of winter and I may even wear a sweater.

I've bought a monitor for my computer. My arms are still sore from carrying the damn thing to the train and from the train to my aprtment. Sure, a cab or my housemate would have been the logical way to transport it, but I don't have to go to the gym for the next 2 or 3 days now! DSL service is on order, so I should be up and running in another week or so. With the service comes 30MB web space, so this will probably be ported over to my webspace along with pictures and recipes. Had a killer vegemite smoothie the other day. That recipe is #1 with a bullet.

I taped the Memorial day Sox-Yanks game, and will be watching it after work today. Thank you yahoo for letting me know who won. No worries though, Rob (the other american here) is another member of Red Sox Nation. Watching the game at his place, with the barbe goin' full on.

2 vacations are booked. June 18th I go to Darwin & Kakadu. This in the top end of australia, pretty near the equator. Full on Safari type adventure planned. Cannot wait to wrestle some salties.

July 16th I'm off to Cairns.

Other than that, I'm wishing I brought a Mt Bike over rather than my road bike. Still not used to this other side of the road business. Never was much of a fan of city riding. I can only play the Kevin Bacon in Quicksilver through so many stop lights then it just gets annoying and maybe a bit dangerous. The trails are good though. Went riding for a few hours on saturday. The bush is alot less arid than expected. All in all still having a good time when I'm not working.
