So I just did a little math and realized that today (Sunday July 6) is my 100th day in oz.

Last sunday night I checked out Lou Barlow solo acoustic at the Basement. It was kinda like a supper club show like you would see at the Iron Horse in NoHo. It was pretty decent, but if I wasn't in Kakadu at the time, the Folk Implosion show would have been the better show, even if Gaslight Radio - one of Melbourne's finest - weren't opening. Lou talked about the stellar track off of Bakesale 'Skull' and how it was written for Evan Dando after the two spent a night out on heroin, speed, coke, etc. The lyrics make alot more sense now that I know this.
