"This is the most entertaining team I've seen in my 21 years here"
-Joe Castiglione on the Red Sox WEEI broadcast talking to Sox owner John Henry
DAMMIT! Of all the years for the sox to (nearly) put it all together, it has to be this year. I've currently at work listening to the game with my headphones on. Wearing my Nomar shirt.
Tonight there is a going away party for one of the APC Galway logistics peeps. Mt. biking and other outdoor activities on the weekend agenda, and a long weekend next week that looks to spent canoe camping. Oh yeah, it may technically be spring, but its really summer. Mid to upper 80s for about a week now. Very happy about this.

Guys, I think I'm softcore. I was listening to some Jayhawks at work and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm addicted to bands that make a living rehashing 70s softrock songs. See A Break in the Clouds (by the aforementioned easy going jayhawks) , much of the my morning jacket catalog, Ryan Adams, etc. I might as well queue up for the Poco retrospective right now.
Picked up a map of the south island of new zealand and the rough guide as well. That place looks to be the bomb. I'm really looking forward to seeing as much as 10 or so days will allow. Not sure about specifics just yet, but I think I'm going to spend a few days backpacking, and maybe a few more days seeing the fiords. yeah they got fiords! Maybe I'm the only psyched about that, but from what I've seen in pictures, I can't wait.
Did reasonably well in basketball this weekend. I'm really in no condition to run up and down, but I was setting up some mean picks and boxing out pretty well. Even hit a few nice jumpers. I may have found a new sunday morning ritual.
