Quick recap of the cities and towns I've seen and eaten in:

Atlanta - euclid ave yatch club. one of the great neighborhood bars. Also took in a Braves - LAnaheim Angels game at Turners field
San Diego - Petco park. Lots and lots of Jamba juice. Last time I was in SD I loved Saffron. The return visit was very ordinary.
Memphis - Graceland. The Arcade Diner.
Pittsburgh - PNC Park
Dallas/Ft Worth - Ameriquest stadium
Kansas City - Kauffman field

Turners field was nice, but a little generic. Ameriquest was in the same mold as Turners, more of a family environment than a ugly fenway environment. PNC was the best, I could easily see myself adopting that ballpark, a very suitable alternative to fenway. Petco was close to PNC, and I think its food is a little better. But its slightly less intimate (especially on the third tier of seats) and theres no cityscape perfectly framed in the outfield. Kauffman was interesting. Water fountains as the outfield (didn't like that you couldn't walk from right field to left field). Old school troughs in the mens bathrooms. Those are still popular in australia, but for some reason are almost non existant here. Therefore I like to see any holdouts so KC gets points for that one.
